Road Trip - Lincoln Nebraska

Why did I go the Nebraska? Well, the one and only TPain was finishing his #TPain20 tour there and I couldn’t miss it! I really only went for the concert, but I found some gems while exploring for 48 hours.

Major shout out to Keenan Eats on Instagram for all of the amazing content and suggestions for local food spots, he has all the ideas! I did Tacos los Hermanos and the portions were CRAZY huge and it’s affordable. High Society Cheesecake, who has the amazing idea to serve their cheesecake like ice cream! Lila Mae’s Cafe that was suggested by a few people and I was not let down.

I took a stroll through the free Sunken Garden, which was peaceful, beautiful and free. Now, on to the concert. No one has more fun at a TPain show than Theodore himself! He puts on a terrific show, full of hits, energy and laughs. Who knew he was so funny and that it costs an artist $6500 to serve hotdogs at a venue! I danced and sang the night away and rested at Marriot - Fairfield Inn. I do love a good suite and where you stay matters, don’t even get me started on “I only sleep there”! If that’s your attitude, we will likely never travel together. Anyway, I walked around Scheels (drank coffee and ate fudge) and bought some beef jerky for the ride home.

It was a fun roadtrip and I think Omaha is next on the Nebraska list!
