The Amazing is Here {at World’s of Fun}

It’s my first time spending a day at World’s of Fun in many, many years, but we did & it’s just as amazing as I remembered! Maybe even more so because now through August 8th from 5:00-9:00pm is Grand Carnivale at World’s of Fun! Grand Carnivale is an international Celebration inside the park, like you’ve never seen before!

This must-see cultural event is your chance to celebrate the amazing sights, sounds, smells and tastes from cultures around the world.

During the celebration , you’ll want to be sure to catch the Spectacle of Color Parade (at 8:30) featuring: floats, entertainers, thunderous music, lights, hot air balloon and a jaw-dropping fireworks display!

Each country featured in Grand Carnivale also includes a menus highlights delicious foods from every culture. We started our visit in China and experienced the fried rice, dumplings, egg rolls and almond cookies!

We made our way around to Germany and experienced the soft pretzels & German chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and made fresh to order.

Sharing this amazing experience with my son brought back all of the fond memories I had of the park. Driving up, you know you’re close when you see the painted hot air balloon water tower! Along with the spectacle of Grand Carnivale, we rode the Furry of the Nile together, twice! Spinning around and getting splashed was fun to experience again through his eyes. He also hopped on the Viking Voyager (aka, log ride) and I quickly remembered the tall drop at the end!

 If you’re looking for a fun family outing or even date night, you’ll want to purchase single day tickets and experience Grand Carnivale before it’s over!
